Overview

Jaston College required a sophisticated digital infrastructure to bridge the gap between traditional classroom learning and modern administrative efficiency. I developed a custom-tailored, multi-user portal designed to handle the complex workflows of a growing educational institution.

The Challenge

Managing an entire college involves a "triangle of communication" between administration, faculty, and students. The college needed a way to centralize records, automate academic delivery, and ensure that every user had a workspace tailored specifically to their responsibilities.

The Solution: A Role-Based Ecosystem

I engineered a three-tier dashboard system that serves as the heartbeat of the college’s digital operations:

• Admin Dashboard: The "Control Center." Allows management to oversee financial transactions (fees), manage staff payroll, track overall enrollment, and generate institutional reports with a single click.
• Teacher Dashboard: The "Digital Classroom." Empowers educators to upload course materials, manage student attendance, grade assignments, and communicate directly with their classes without manual paperwork.
• Student Dashboard: The "Learning Hub." A personalized space where students can access their curriculum, track their academic progress, submit assignments, and view their financial status (fees paid/pending).

Key Features Implemented

• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Strict security protocols ensuring that users only access data relevant to their specific role.
• Automated Academic Records: Digital gradebooks that calculate averages and store historical data for every student.
• Resource Repository: A centralized library for PDFs, video lectures, and research materials, accessible 24/7.
• Real-Time Notifications: Instant updates for exam schedules, fee reminders, and college announcements.
